Ingredients and Substitutes:

These are the ingredients for the chicken bacon ranch sliders. For the full list of ingredients scroll down to the recipe card. 

Ground Chicken: you can easily swap ground chicken with ground turkey, deli turkey, deli chicken or rotisserie chicken. If you use ground turkey I would suggest adding extra ranch seasoning, salt and pepper. 

Hawaiian Sweet Rolls: this recipe calls for King’s Original Hawaiian Sweet Rolls. You can swap with any sweet roll, gluten free sweet roll, brioche bun or slider roll. 

 

Ranch Seasoningusing pre packaged dry powdering Hidden Valley ranch seasoning. You can swap with your favorite ranch seasoning. For added ranch flavor top with ranch dressing after baking. 

Cheese: you can use your favorite cheese as a substitute to mozzarella. Pepper jack, colby jack, cheddar, dairy free cheese, etc. 

Bacon: this recipe uses 6 slices of bacon with macros : 80 cals per 2 slices. 6P/0C/7F.

Step by Step Instructions:

Step 1

Pre heat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. In a pan over medium heat brown the bacon until crispy. Once the bacon is cooked remove and set aside on a paper towel to drain the excess fat. 

Drain most of the fat from the pan and add the ground chicken to cook. Break the chicken into pieces as you cook and cook until browned and cooked through.  Add ranch seasoning, salt and pepper to the chicken and mix. 

Step 2

While the chicken cooks, chop your bacon into pieces. Prep your green onions and buns. Slice the buns through the center so you have a one top and one bottom leaving all 12 connected. 

 

Add bacon, green onions and mozzarella cheese to the chicken and stir together until the cheese has melted. 

Step 3

Spray a 9×13 inch baking dish with nonstick spray and place the bottom buns down. Top with chicken mixture and spread around to evenly coat the buns.

 Top the chicken with 4 slices of cheese evenly across the top of the mixture. Place the top buns on top. 

Step 4

Spray the top of the buns with cooking spray and sprinkle with sesame seeds. 

Bake at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 10-15 minutes or until the cheese is melted and buns are toasted. 

 

Step 5

Enjoy!! Serve chicken bacon ranch sliders fresh out of the oven.

What to serve with sliders

Serve with extra ranch for dipping. These Chicken Bacon Ranch Sliders are great as a stand alone meal, however you can add sides like vegetables or fries.

  • 12 pack King's Hawaiian Original Hawaiian Sweet Rolls
  • 1 lbs. ground chicken (96/4)
  • 6 slices bacon
  • 2 Tbsp. dry ranch seasoning
  • 1/2 cup (56g) Shredded Low-Moisture Part-Skim Mozzarella Cheese
  • 4 slices mozzarella cheese
  • 2  green onions, chopped
  • Sesame seeds (garnish)
