These Chocolate Baked Oats are like breakfast brownies with their rich chocolate flavor. Made with oats, protein powder, almond milk and applesauce, this chocolate oatmeal is a filling and easy breakfast to make ahead of time and have for the week.

In a large bowl, combine the oats, cocoa powder, protein powder, baking powder, and salt. Whisk together to combine.

In another medium bowl, whisk together the almond milk, maple syrup, applesauce, melted coconut oil, egg, syrup, and vanilla extract and whisk until combined.

Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and stir until well combined.

Fold in the chocolate chips evenly throughout.

Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish, spreading it out evenly.

Bake in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes, or until the center is set and a toothpick inserted comes out clean or with a few moist crumbs.
