Meal prep is the key to success when tracking macros. It doesn’t have to be complicated either. These Turkey Taco Bowls are flavorful, easy to prep and reheat well. They also have awesome macros.

Ingredients
  

  • 4 oz ground turkey - measured raw or adjusted for cooked
  • Taco Seasoning
  • 60 g  basmati rice
  • 60 g unsalted black beans, drained and rinsed
  • 30 g corn
  • 30 g salsa
  • 1/3 container of Eat Wholly spicy guacamole*
  • juice of 1 lime wedge
  • fresh chopped cilantro

Taco Seasoning - 1 lb of turkey

  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 2 tsp paprika
  • 1 tbsp chili powder
  • 1.5 tbsp cumin
  • 1 tbsp salsa

Instructions
 

  • Brown your turkey meat with taco seasoning. *
  • Layer rice in the bottom of your meal prep dish. Top with turkey, beans, corn and lime juice.
    If meal prepping - leave off salsa, cilantro and guacamole and add after reheating.

Notes

Measurements and nutrition information is for one prepared bowl. Taco seasoning is for 1 lb of turkey meat which makes 4 bowls. You can use any guacamole here but I like to use the individual Eat Wholly Packs for convivence when meal prepping.
