Whether you’re looking for an easy snack, new breakfast idea or an after dinner treat, these crunchy cinnamon cream cheese roll-ups hit the spot. Made with lavash bread, less-fat cream cheese, Swerve sugar replacement, cinnamon and milk, these roll-ups are crunchy on the outside with a sweet cinnamon sugar cream cheese filling.

Lavash bread is a thin flatbread, similar to a tortilla. Because it’s already flat, there’s no rolling pin needed and most of the prep work is done. Simply add your cream cheese mixture, roll it up, and place in the air fryer.

Ready in less than 15 minutes, make this quick treat whenever a sugar craving hits. For more sweet breakfast dishes, try Cinnamon Roll French Toast Bake or Protein Chocolate Baked Oats.

Ingredients and Substitutions:

These are the main ingredients and substitutions for these cinnamon cream cheese roll ups. See the recipe card below for the full ingredients list and instructions for this recipe.

  • Joseph’s Lavash Bread: you can use a tortilla or any slice of bread and roll it flat. Remove the crust of the bread if choosing a flattened piece of bread. Whole wheat bread or white bread both work.
  • Less Fat Cream Cheese: or full-fat for a richer sauce.
  • Swerve Confectioners Sugar: this keeps calories down. You can use white or brown sugar.
  • Milk: any type. I used 2%.
  • Ground Cinnamon

Variations

  • Add a pinch of nutmeg with the cinnamon.
  • Drizzle with maple syrup or peanut butter syrup.
  • Use a pastry brush to paint a little melted butter on the lavash prior to air frying.

Dietary Modifications

  • To make dairy-free, use a dairy-free cream cheese and dairy-free milk.
  • To make gluten-free, use a gluten-free bread similar to lavash.

How to make cinnamon cream cheese roll-ups:

Step 1: make cream cheese mixture

In a shallow bowl, combine sugar, cream cheese, cinnamon and milk.

Step 2: spread mixture on lavash

Lay a single full lavash bread down and spread the sugar and cream cheese mixture across the entire lavash. Roll like you would a cinnamon roll.

Step 3: air fry

Spray the air fryer pan with nonstick spray and lay the lavash roll up with the seam down. Spray the top of the lavash and cook at 350 for 10 minutes. Flipping halfway through. They should be golden brown.

Step 4: remove and enjoy

Remove with tongs, cut into 6 equal slices and enjoy! Sprinkle with an additional cinnamon sugar mixture, if desired.

Expert Tip!

Make this breakfast treat with the crust ends of the bread no one eats. Roll them flat. The ends are a little thicker than the inside pieces turning these into a thicker roll up.
