These turkey burgers are made with ground turkey, fresh herbs and spices, parmesan cheese and my secret weapon, Better than Bouillon. They come together in about 5 minutes and because we use the air fryer, there’s very little clean up and no grilling needed.
The lemon dill aioli steals the show. It’s rich, creamy, low in fat and adds tons of flavor to the burgers. If aioli isn’t your thing, add homemade bbq sauce, cottage cheese ranch dressing, Big Mac sauce or dairy-free ranch to dress your burger up.
Add your favorite sides like French fries, sweet potato fries or keep it super healthy with a broccoli crunch salad or watermelon fruit salad.

Ingredients and Substitutes:
These are the main ingredients and substitutions for these juicy air fryer turkey burgers. For the full recipe details see the recipe card.

- Lean Ground Turkey: we’re using 93/7 for a juicy burger. Leaner will be dry and anything higher in fat will be juicier. You can also use ground beef or ground chicken.
- Parmesan Cheese: adds lots of flavor to the turkey patties.
- Worcestershire Sauce: soy sauce or coconut aminos.
- Chicken Better than Bouillon Powder: adds flavor.
- Light Mayonnaise: can be swapper with greek yogurt, mayonnaise or even cottage cheese!
- Dried Dill: if using fresh dill, double the amount.
- Fresh Lemon Juice
- Brioche Buns: or any type of hamburger bun.
- Baby Spinach, Fresh Tomato and Pickles
Variations
- Add a slice of cheese: cheddar cheese, provolone cheese, and Swiss cheese are awesome. Add the cheese the final minute of air frying.
- Add any of your favorite toppings. Fresh onion, avocado, leaf lettuce, mushrooms or jalapeño.
- Omit the aioli and add homemade barbecue sauce, cottage cheese ranch or dairy-free ranch.
- Make these Greek style by adding feta cheese and tzatziki sauce.
Dietary Modifications
- These tasty burgers are gluten-free. Be sure your bouillon is free of gluten.
- For dairy-free, omit the parmesan cheese on the burger patties and aioli and use a dairy-free mayo in the sauce.
How to make juicy turkey burgers
Step 1: preheat, prep and cook burgers
Preheat the Air Fryer to 375 degrees Fahrenheit for 3-5 minutes. In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground turkey, Parmesan cheese, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, chicken Bouillon, salt and black pepper. Mix until just combined. Divide the turkey mixture into 4 equal portions (image 1) and shape into turkey patties (image 2).
Spray the preheated air fryer basket with cooking spray and add the patties in a single layer, giving them enough space (image 3). Cook at 375 degrees Fahrenheit for 12-14 minutes, flipping halfway through (image 4).

Step 2: make aioli
While the patties are cooking, make the aioli. In a mixing bowl, combine the mayonnaise, dill, Parmesan cheese, lemon juice, salt and pepper until well combined (image 5). Set aside. You can also toast the brioche buns at this time.

Step 3: build your turkey burger
Assemble the cooked burgers by adding a layer of baby spinach, turkey patty, tomato, pickles, and the aioli topped with the other half of the bun.
Expert Tip!
Don’t over-mix your raw meat mixture. Mix just to combine to keep the burgers tender and juicy.

Recipe FAQs
Serve with a slice of cheese and your favorite burger toppings. I love provolone cheese, pickles, tomato and lettuce.
Toss them on the grill on medium heat for 4-5 minutes per side until cooked through.
Leftovers can be placed in an airtight container and refrigerated for up to 3 days. I recommend storing disassembled burgers to prevent sogginess. Reheat in the air fryer or the microwave until heated through and reassemble the burger before enjoying.
You can make these raw patties and freeze them for up to a month in an airtight container. Layer them with parchment to avoid sticking. Defrost and cook in the air fryer.
You also have the option to cook these burgers and freeze them after. Reheat in the air fryer when ready to warm up.
Yes. You can use ground beef, no problem. If using ground chicken you want to use a higher fat percentage than 93/7%. This ensures the burger will be juicy and not too dry.
