Ingredients
- 5 oz. ย deveined and shelled shrimp (raw)
- 1/4 tsp. cumin
- 1/4 tsp. chili powder
- 1/4 tsp. onion powder
- 1/4 tsp. garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 20 g sliced green bell pepper โฃ
- 20 g sliced red onion โฃ
- 20 g plain nonfat Greek yogurt โฃ
- 1 limeย wedge โฃ
- 50 g basmati rice โฃ cooked
- Jalapeno hot sauce โฃor any green hot sauce
- 1 Joseph's Bakery Lavash
Instructions
- Peel and devein shrimp. Add seasonings and coat well.
- Sautรฉ onions and peppers on greased pan over medium heat until tender and browned. Push to one side and add shrimp.
- Cook shrimp ~ 3 mins each side until cooked through. โฃWhile the shrimp cooks mix Greek yogurt and lime juice and set aside. โฃ
- Once the shrimp has cooked, assemble your burritos. Rice. Shrimp. Veggies. Sauce. Hot sauce.โฃRoll in a wrap or tortilla, spray the outside of the wrap or tortillas with cooking spray and sear in a warm pan until golden brown.
Notes
- Tortillas may be used in place of lavash.
- Use raw shrimp and not pre-cooked. Pre-cooked will get tough and chewy.ย
- Devaining removes the intestinal tract of the shrimp. It is edible, but most people prefer to remove it.ย
