Ingredients and Substitutions:
These are the main ingredients and substitutions for this easy olive dip. See the recipe card below for the full ingredient list and instructions.

- Low-Fat Cottage Cheese: Good Culture is my favorite because it’s the least watery I’ve found. You can use full-fat for a more creamy dip.
- Less-Fat Cream Cheese: make sure this is well softened to ensure your dip blends nice and smooth. Use full fat cream cheese for an extra creamy dip.
- Black Olives
- Green Olives: also known as castelvetrano olives. You’ll be using pimento stuffed green olives for that extra flavor.
- Kalamata Olives: you’ll use the olive as well as the Kalamata olive juice.
Variations
- If you love fresh garlic, add minced garlic cloves to your cream cheese mixture.
- Add your favorite fresh herbs such as fresh parsley or green onions.
- Add red pepper flakes for some heat.
Dietary Modifications
- This recipe is gluten-free, as is.
