What kind of tortillas should you use for easy air fryer tortilla pizza?
Flour! Corn tortillas will get extra crispy .. think tostadas lol. You’ll want to use flour tortillas for this recipe, you can use any store-bought tortilla you prefer. Flour is best though for these tortilla pizzas and they will crisp up well while still staying soft for a traditional pizza taste. I prefer using carb-balance tortillas like Mission Carb Balance Low Carb Tortillas, but you can use your favorite. Another GREAT option for this is the new Counter Protein Tortilla wrap tortillas. They’re huge, thick, easy on the macros, and crisp up really well in the air fryer.

I love my air fryer!
I have had the Cosori air fryer since prime day 2020 and it is still trucking along great. I use this air fryer for everything! Some of my favorite air fryer recipes are Air Fryer Blackened Chicken and Air Fryer Shrimp Tacos. It fits an 8-inch tortilla perfectly in the air fryer basket to make this 5-minute air fryer tortilla pizza such an easy recipe.

These are the main ingredients and substitutions for the three pizzas pictured. See recipe card below for full ingredients list and instructions for your air fryer tortillas pizza.

- Flour Tortillas: any store-bought tortillas will work for this as long as they fit in your air fryer basket. I use 8-inch tortillas. You can use carb balance, low-carb tortillas, regular tortillas, Counter tortillas but stick with flour so you have a crispy tortilla crust and not a tostada.
- Sauce: I love them all. For traditional red sauce pizza use tomato sauce, pizza sauce, marinara sauce or even pasta sauce. My favorite is Rao’s Tomato Basil with its clean ingredients and great flavor. I also use bbq sauce, ranch dressing, and my oil-free pesto.
- Mozzarella cheese: I use part-skim low-moisture mozzarella cheese. My local grocery store sells a family-size pack which we go through quickly. Use your favorite for an extra cheesy pizza.
- Toppings: here you’ll find a pepperoni pizza using turkey pepperoni slices, a supreme with the addition of bell pepper, onions, and olives, and a seasonal pesto peach and prosciutto with show-stopping hot honey.
- Fresh fruits and veggies: add thinly sliced peaches or fresh arugula for seasonal pizzas.
- Seasonings: you can add Italian seasoning, basil, garlic powder and red pepper flakes.
- Dipping: I am a pizza with ranch person, you? Bolthouse Farms makes an awesome yogurt ranch. Or you can check out my Buffalo Ranch Chicken Salad for a perfect buffalo ranch and plain ranch recipe.
