Step 3: add in dry ingredients

Add in the cocoa powder, flour, salt, and baking powder to the wet ingredients. Gently fold until the dry ingredients are just incorporated, being careful not to overmix. You will have a thick batter.ย  Fold in the chocolate chips or chunks, ensuring they’re evenly distributed throughout the batter.ย

Pour batter into the prepared brownie pan, spreading it evenly. Bake brownies in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs. Do not overbake if you want them chewy.
